<<10-year-old philanthropist, and founder of the Little Red Wagon Foundation, Zach Bonner
Staff members from the Governor’s Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service (Volunteer Florida), The Florida Department of Children and Families Office on Homelessness, and the Big Bend Homeless Coalition gathered on the steps of the Historic Capital Oct. 17 to support 10-year-old Zach Bonner in his efforts to eliminate homelessness!
Zach, founder of the Little Red Wagon Foundation, walked from Tampa to Tallahassee last year to raise awareness and money for homelessness programs. He finished his 2007 walk on the steps of the Historic Capitol. This year, Zach begins his walk where he left off last year, and will walk from Tallahassee to Atlanta over the next 30 days!
In addition to an online celebrity memorabilia auction, Zach is walking to generate cash donations to build a Habitat for Humanity house for a homeless family. For more information, please visit his website at www.littleredwagonfoundation.com.
