WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation announces an Interstate Commerce, Trade, and Tourism Subcommittee hearing on The Imbalance in U.S.-Korea Automobile Trade, scheduled for June 11, 2008, at 9:30 a.m.
The hearing will examine the reasons for the imbalance in U.S.-Korea bilateral automobile trade; its impact on the United States’ automakers, autoworkers, and economy; and proposals to address the imbalance. Senator Dorgan will preside.
