Explore a World of Virtual Innovation
09.06.08
Join us on Saturday, Sept. 6, for a tour of the GRUVE Lab, a virtual reality environment for NASA scientists and engineers.
In this lab, scientists can visualize the results of experiments performed on supercomputers, and engineers can see three-dimensional representations of their designs as they create rockets and aircraft components.
During your tour, you'll see demonstrations of tools and techniques Glenn engineers have used on recent projects, including a jet engine design and a virtual-reality model of the Internationl Space Station.
