Congressman Hobson joined Ohio’s Adjutant General Greg Wayt, Royal Netherlands Ambassador Christiaan Kröner and U.S. Senator George Voinovich in an event to mark the beginning of a F-16 training mission at the Springfield ANG Base involving Dutch pilots.

Congressman Hobson was awarded the Community Champion Award from the Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of Clark County for his work to improve the quality of life for people living in Clark County.
Energy and Water Development Appropriations Chairman Pete Visclosky (D-IN) presented Congressman Hobson with an OSU helmet signed by Coach Jim Tressel that reads: "Congressman Hobson-Congratulations on four winning seasons on Energy and Water! Go Bucks!"
