Published: 9/10/2008 In response to the government take-over of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, we must make reforms to these institutions to ensure that we do not go through this exercise again in the years ahead. The bottom line is that the taxpayer must be fully protected while we work to stabilize the market.
