Salary: $43,557 – $96,791

Facilities Support Project Management Officers (FSPM) are responsible for working in partnership with our customers to provide tailored products and services to satisfy their dynamic needs for facilities at competitive prices. Facilities Support Project Management Officers are responsible for creating safe, secure, functional work environments to support Agency global intelligence.

At entry/developmental levels, FSPM Officers work under close guidance and supervision. Officers participate and coordinate the activities of well-defined facilities project(s). At this level, officers participate in project planning, implementation, development of risk mitigation strategies, and ensure quality of a facilities project through testing and validation activities. Officers are responsible for one or more facilities project management activities throughout the life of a project. Based on assignment, an officer may lead team members and contractors to achieve the project objectives and customer requirements or with guidance participate in the management of building support services and property management issues for small to medium size Agency facilities. FSPM Officers participate in procurement activities in coordination with the assigned contracting officer and may perform Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) responsibilities. Officers at this level are expected to perform general administrative duties and are expected to maintain current project management job knowledge and obtain appropriate certifications.

This position requires a commitment to serve wherever the mission needs are -- including worldwide deployments to sometimes harsh and dangerous environments. You must be willing to travel for up to several weeks at a time and, throughout your career, you must maintain an ongoing readiness to travel and relocate to meet short and long-term organizational requirements.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in architecture; construction or facilities management; electrical, mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering; or relevant years of work experience. One year of experience applying substantive expertise in a facilities project with an emphasis in facilities project planning, resource scheduling, cost monitoring, task assignment and timeline management.

Additional Desired Requirements include excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent analytical skills. A working knowledge of MS-Office including WORD, EXCEL, & POWERPOINT.

All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation. U.S. citizenship is required.
