GOAL
ONE:
Deliver timely, high quality
constituent service.

While I am interested in the views of all Americans, my primary responsibility to serve Idahoans bumps their requests, letters and messages to the top of the stack.

My colleagues in the Senate have similar priorities. If you are not an Idahoan, and want to express your opinion or you need help with a federal agency, I hope you will give your Senators the opportunity to serve you.

[Mission & Goals]

As one of Idaho's United States Senators, I believe it is important to listen to and understand the views and beliefs of my fellow Idahoans so that I may properly represent Idaho on the Floor of the United States Senate. My position as a federal representative also allows me to intercede on the behalf of my constituents to assist them with any problem they may encounter when dealing with the federal government or its agencies.

Whether you wish to communicate your views, ask for assistance, or determine my stance on a particular issue, I hope you will take a moment to get in touch with me. For your convenience, there are several ways you may do so. These contact options are described below.

If you have questions or need information about a particular legislative matter, I would encourage you to use this website as a resource. The information you need may already be available online, and a few likely starting points are offered in the Website Resources section at the bottom of this page.

Contact Options

Please select one of the options below, following the guidelines provided to ensure you receive the quality service Idahoans have come to expect from me and my office.

Send an email message

·Let me know what you think about a particular issue.

·Ask where I stand on an issue, request copies of legislation, or request general information about the Senate, the federal government, or the State of Idaho.

·Submit an online form to request that brochures and general information about tours in Washington, DC, be mailed to you.

·Submit an online form to request specific tours while you are in Washington.

·Add your email address to my eNEWS address book.

Please do not send email about casework or other requests for assistance.

Idahoans requesting my assistance should call or stop by my nearest office and speak to a member of my staff. Emailing casework requests or related information will significantly delay the resolution of the problem, compared to the immediate assistance my staff may provide.

Call or stop by my office

·Request assistance with problems you are having with a federal agency or find out information on existing casework.

·Let me know your opinion, request information on an issue, or get answers to your questions about my views or the services provided by my office.

·Submit tour requests or flag orders, or allow my staff to assist you in doing so.

·Request a meeting with me or my staff.

Mail a letter

·Let me know your opinion or request information about an issue.
Please note: postal mail is not recommended for time-sensitive material.

US Senate Mail Security Measures

Mail sent to Senate offices in Washington may be delayed up to four weeks due to off-site screening, which includes irradiation as well as opening of suspicious items. Please do not send items that may be affected by high temperatures. Avoid plastic items, like ink pens and CDs. If you must get items such as these to me, consider delivering them to one of my offices in Idaho.

Packages sent to my Washington, DC, office using "overnight" delivery services are typically delayed several days because they must still be screened, and cannot be accepted unless arrangements are made in advance by calling my office at 202/224-2752.
