Committee Meetings
FEDERAL CRIMINAL LAWS--INTERROGATION OF DETAINEES
Committee on the Judiciary: On December 20, the Committee held a 
hearing on Applicability of Federal Criminal Laws to the Interrogation 
of Detainees. Testimony was heard from public witnesses.
PAKISTANI ELECTIONS
Committee on Oversight and Government Reform: On December 20, the 
Subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs held a hearing on 
Pakistani Elections: Will They Be Free and Fair or Fundamentally 
Flawed. Testimony was heard from former Senator Tom Daschle of South 
Dakota; and public witnesses.
