The President has recently announced a new initiative to help American homeowners who may face financial stress as their subprime loans adjust to higher rates. Under this new plan, up to 1.2 million borrowers with subprime adjustabile-rate mortgages will be eligible for assistance.

If you are facing higher interest rates and believe that you will be unable to afford your payments please contact your lender and see what optionas are available. YOu may also call a trained mortgage councelor, such as the counselors available free of charge through the HOPE hotline at 1-888-995-HOPE.
