Pensacola, Fl (September 12, 2008) - Congressman Jeff Miller (R-Fl-01) and Secretary of Veterans Affairs James Peake will speak Monday at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the VA/Department of Defense’s Joint Ambulatory Care Clinic outside Corry Station in Pensacola.
“The Super Clinic is a huge victory for both our veterans and active duty military in Northwest Florida,” Miller said. “I applaud Secretary Peake for continuing the hard work of Secretary Nicholson and making this day a reality.”
Congressman Miller has been working with the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to arrange the construction of the JACC since 2002.
The JACC is located near Pensacola Naval Hospital and is the largest clinic within the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System and will provide improved services for veterans in the Florida Panhandle and South Alabama.
