Chumuckla, Fl (August 21, 2007) - Congressman Jeff Miller (R-FL-01) today announced that he would be holding office hours for veterans in Chipley and Bonifay on Friday, August 24th. In order to better serve the needs of veterans who are not close to the Congressman’s Pensacola or Ft. Walton Beach offices, special “mobile office” days have been established.
Congressman Miller, along with staff members from his office, will be available to answer questions about Veterans’ benefits, casework, or healthcare service.
“This is just another way we can better serve our growing veterans population in Northwest Florida,” Miller said. “I’m eager to continue to work hard for our veterans and retirees.”
Florida’s First District is one of the highest concentrations of any Congressional District in the nation, with over 100,000 veterans.
The dates and times of the veterans’ office days are listed below. The meeting is open to the public and the press.
