Maybe you or someone you know is among the millions of veterans who received help from the Disabled American Veterans –
the DAV – when help was desperately needed. Perhaps you’re a member of a veteran’s family, who felt lost and alone until you
crossed paths with the DAV and its Auxiliary. Or you could be one of the millions of Americans who understand and appreciate
how much our disabled veterans gave when they sacrificed their blood and their health for their country – a loyal person who simply
wants to ensure that assistance will always be there for our nation’s disabled heroes and heroines.

MISSION
The DAV National Service Foundation develops financial resources for the assistance, aid, maintenance, care, support and
rehabilitation of disabled veterans and their dependents, either directly or by contributions to the service programs of the
Disabled American Veterans National Organization or its Departments and Chapters.
WAYS OF GIVING TO THE FOUNDATION
Gifts to the National Service Foundation are tax-deductible and can be made in ways to bring special honor to significant people in your life.
Gifts at any level, and for any purpose, are greatly appreciated and needed. In addition, the Foundation frequently receives gifts in these special ways:
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
The National Service Foundation is happy to send a gift letter to whomever a donor wishes. DAV Departments, Chapters, and Auxiliary Units also establish continuing memorial and honorary funds to pay tribute to special individuals.
Gifts Through Your Will
You can also include the Foundation in your will for a specific amount or percentage. Simply designate: DAV National Service Foundation, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076. Bequest donors are permanently remembered through the DAV Guardian Society.
The DAV National Service Foundation is a tax-exempt charitable organization to which all donations are deductible for federal state and gift tax purposes.

The Foundation is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the District of Columbia. It is exempt from tax under Title 26 U.S.C., Section 501(c)(4). Contributions to the Foundation are deductible pursuant to 26 U.S.C., Section 170(c).
