Brief description of document(s):

The existing CoPs are the rules that hospices must meet at this time. They address the manner in which hospices should provide care to their patients.

The Final Revised CoPs are the health and safety requirements that all hospices will be required to meet as of December 2, 2008. They are a flexible framework for continuous quality improvement in hospice care and reflect current standards of practice.
