IGA Tribal Affairs

Tribal Affairs is an integral component of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Tribal Affairs conducts ongoing outreach to tribes and tribal organizations around the country. IGA Tribal Affairs advises IGA leadership and HHS Senior Staff on how best to address the unique needs this constituency.

The Office of Tribal Affairs also provides executive direction for the Secretary's Intradepartmental Council on Native American Affairs (ICNAA) that brings together all Health and Human Services Divisions to help frame HHS' policy and initiatives on American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Americans.
