MAPPS Loses in Federal Court
Washington DC, Jun 19, 2007
The United States District Court in Alexandria, Virginia has reached a decision in the MAPPS (Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors) litigation, ruling last week that MAPPS lacks legal standing. A press release describing the decision  and the full decision  provide further detail. UCGIS was one of the first organizations to agree to join in an amicus brief opposing the MAPPS claims.
