Renewal of Interim Water Service Contracts through February 28, 2010

Summary:
Reclamation proposes to renew 15 interim water service contracts for a two-year period from March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2010. Interim renewal contracts (IRCs) are undertaken under the authority of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act to provide a bridge between the expiration of the original long-term water service contract and the execution of a new long-term water service contract. Previous interim renewal EAs and supplements have been written and contracts executed since 1994.

Draft EA available for review on December 27, 2007. Comments due January 28, 2008. FONSI signed and Final EA completed on March 6, 2008.
