U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Mobile Sources 9/16/97 Draft October 1997 MOBILE6 Workshop Agenda Many requests have been received for a more detailed agenda for the second MOBILE6 Stakeholder Workshop, set for October 1-2, 1997. The following is a DRAFT agenda for the workshop. It divides the presentations into morning and afternoon sessions for each of the two days. Some changes to this agenda may occur before the workshop, however EPA anticipates that we will be able to hold fairly closely to the topics and order provided below. The model covers more than 80 types of compression ignition (CI) and spark ignition (SI) engine categories, including such items as lawnmowers, motorboats, portable generators, construction equipment, and commercial marine vessels. The model estimates mass emissions of hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), particulate matter (PM) and carbon dioxide (CO2), for specific states and counties, for past and future years. The model provides the user with a flexible tool that can be applied to a wide variety of air quality modeling and planning functions.
