Chapter 7, 12 & 13 Private Trustee Locator

Under the federal Bankruptcy Code (11 U.S.C. 101, et seq.), private trustees typically administer debtors' estates, subject to supervision by the United States Trustees in their respective judicial districts. (See Note).

The panel, standing, and case-by-case trustees listed below are private parties, not government employees.

Bankruptcy cases in Alabama and North Carolina are not under the jurisdiction of the United States Trustee Program. Questions regarding bankruptcy cases filed in the six judicial districts in those states should be directed to the Bankruptcy Administrator for the district where the case is pending.
