Location:  Located on Highway 28, 2 miles east of the Tahoe City "Y" in Tahoe City, California, underneath "Curves" fitness center.

Location: 3 miles north of South Lake Tahoe, California, on the lake side of Highway 89. If you are driving north on Highway 89 from South Lake Tahoe, you will make a right hand turn just past the Tallac Historic Site. If you are driving south on Highway 89 from Truckee/Tahoe City, you will make a left hand turn just past Baldwin Beach.

Visitor Center Hours: Open daily from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. thru the end of September 2008 and daily during the month of October 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
