NRCS Waukesha, Wisconsin, district conservationist John White is currently on a one-year tour in Iraq as a major with the U.S. Army Reserve Multi-Functional Support Command. The Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois-based unit was activated in February 2005 in support of the Army Material Command (AMC) where John is currently assigned as the Support Operations Officer for the AMC Army Field Support Brigade at Camp Anaconda, Iraq.

Monetary valuations of non-market goods and services such as water quality and wildlife are estimated in terms of willingness to pay defined as the maximum amount of money a person is willing to pay in order to obtain some level of the good or service.
