ALERT: From July 15, 1997, through November 6, 1997, Dallas
district detained 15 shipments of both hard and soft candy
made with chili pepper from the listed manufacturer. The
shipments were detained for rodent filth and insect filth.
GUIDANCE: Districts may detain without physical examination both hard
and soft candies containing chili pepper manufactured *** by
the firms listed on the attachment.***
Districts encountering similar products from other
manufacturers should consider sampling as resources permit.

OASIS.
