PSF - Materials Science and Technology Building
The Materials Science and Technology building will be located east of the central courtyard. The capability housed in this building will focus on the performance and life of materials in the aggressive environments found in next-generation technologies and applications in the areas of energy, construction and transportation. Safe, sustained performance of materials is required under conditions of high stress, fatigue, high temperatures and other extremes. PNNL is working with metals, ceramics, polymeric materials, composites and specialized coatings and surface treatments to address these situations.
