Forest Supervisor Thomas A. Schmidt signed a Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Non-native Invasive Plant (NNIP) Control Project, selecting Alternative 2. The project will use a combination of methods to control invasive plants within the Hiawatha National Forest (HNF) boundary. The project area is located on National Forest lands in Alger, Chippewa, Delta, Mackinac, Marquette, and Schoolcraft counties, Michigan.
