GOV. RITTER STATEMENT ON DEATH OF BOB PALMER
Gov. Bill Ritter issued the following statement today regarding the death of Bob Palmer:
"It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of longtime journalist and news anchor Bob Palmer. Bob was a beloved newsman who not only became the face of KCNC, but for many became the face of Colorado as well. His Western charm and professional excellence captured the hearts of thousands of viewers for more than 26 years, and the firm footprint he left behind will not easily fade away.
"On behalf of the people of Colorado, we extend our condolences to Bob's family, and offer our prayers, thoughts and sympathies during this time of loss.
"It was indeed nice to have had Bob with us."
