Cert Description
The LDS-CERT Team is progressing very well on their training & organizational efforts. I had the opportunity to sit in on part of a class & this team has approximately 30 members. After completing their "Basic-CERT- Training", they will meet on a monthly basis. Team membership is open to any resident of Christian County. The Team Leader has expressed an interest in taking the CERT TtT Course when it is offered again. Also- they have a Nurse on the team that is Certified to teach CPR & 1st Aide through the American Heart Association. They will be included on our continuing "Incident Command System IS-100, and NIMS IS-700 Training in 2008. The team projects a positive aura & we have high hopes for their success.
