Cert Description
Due to Lake Barkley State Resort Park being a state organization, local response is not top priority and the state responders are too far away. Therefore, park management has developed and provided training for CERT teams on the park to assist and evacuate employees and guests of the park during a major disaster or emergency until local or state 911 responders arrive. Due to the Lakes geographical location, LBSRP-CERT Team is a part of the Pennyrile Regional Citizen Corps.
