| Cert Description |
| Woodford County combined the Medical Reserve Corps with the Community Emergency Response Team. We offer up to 30 hours of basic training for volunteers and additional training on various topics are also offered. A number of local agencies teach the courses. The team is designed to be available to assist first responder agencies during times of disaster and are being implemented into local emergency operations plans including public health preparedness plans. Volunteers are also encouraged to participate community and team building events such as health education, distribution of information at
local fairs and festivals, and tours of local facilities. |
