| The CERT program is designed to bring first responders and citizen volunteers together to assist the communities ability to prepare for and recover from disaster situations. This program has been organized under the local Emergency Management Agency. The CERT team will be trained in 8 CERT Courses to the extent and scope of the training material provided to them by the Instructor & and other additional training provided or offered by the CERT Manager. The goal will be to train as many community members as possible in emergency functions of a CERT team in a disaster situation and be activated if needed. |
