The U.S. Commercial Service Aerospace & Defense Team is pleased to offer its Aerospace Executive Service (AES) at Africa Aerospace & Defense (AAD) 2008.

About AAD 2008

AAD is one of the world's pre-eminent second-tier air shows and a major showcase for marketing aerospace, defense technology, business and commercial aviation systems, and related security solution services. AAD 2006 broke records as the greatest aerospace, maritime, and defense exhibition on the African Continent. Regional commercial and general aviation multipliers are seasoned visitors to AAD and serve to reinforce South Africa as the maintenance, repair, and overhaul hub for sub-Saharan Africa. South Africa is also the gateway to the sub-Saharan market for consumables, rotables, spares, and after-market technologies relating to commercial and general aviation products. It is also increasingly a stepping-stone for forward support of peacekeeping and humanitarian operations in Africa and the Middle East.

Benefits of the Aerospace Executive Service (AES)

The AES affords lower-cost access to small- and medium-sized businesses by allowing them to participate in Africa's largest aerospace exhibition without taking on the enormous expense of purchasing and staffing booth space.

Participation in the AES Program includes:

• Two days of pre-scheduled meetings with pre-qualified potential partners, agents, buyers, government, and military contacts
• VIP Pass admission to AAD 2008
• Facilitation of transportation requirements to and from the Air Show
• Dedicated meeting area for AES participants
• Company literature on display at meeting area at show
• Pre-show market briefing with welcome kits
• Networking reception
• On-site assistance by U.S. Department of Commerce staff

Participation Fee: $3,200* (+ $700 for each additional company representative)
*Lodging, airfare, and most meals not included.
