Cert Description
The CERT program includes an eight-week basic training course that follows FEMA's CERT curriculum and ends with a four-hour certification exercise. Graduates are encouraged to attend advanced training, refresher training or drills that are offered through out the year. Members are also encouraged to interact with their neighborhoods and to market our CERT Program to their friends, neighbors, and co-workers. They also participate in a range of community projects -- city festivities, medical standby's, or act as victims at community or regional drills.
