| Cert Description |
| Gresham has two ways you can get CERT trained:
1) A series of seven training sessions taught by Gresham Fire & Emergency Services specialists. These sessions are usually conducted on evenings over a 7-week period.
2) A pilot program combining web-based training with local hands-on skills training taught by our firefighter specialists. Students first complete a six-module introductory CERT training course on-line, and then attend a Saturday field training/exercise session in practical emergency skills.
It takes approximately 18-20 hours to get CERT trained. Upon completion you may register as a CERT volunteer and be assigned to a team. |
