| Salem CERT program was established in 2002 by the Salem Fire Dept. We currently have 75+ team members in every area of the city. Our goals are to establish proactive teams in every neighborhood of the city.
We are always looking for new team members. All we require is a desire to help your neighbors in a time of need, so we welcome all persons.
We already have a very diverse membership ranging from retirees, to high
school students, stay at home mothers, college students, high profile
state employees, etc.
We welcome all those who reside in the city and even those from the
smaller outlying communities in Marion County.
We have a monthly CERT steering committee meeting, and a quarterly general
membership meetings for reCERTification and extended training.
