| Continuation with rural growth of CERT training. Provide refresher drills and participation in several yearly community service activities.
The City of Aumsville CERT Program includes an eight-week basic training course that follows FEMA's CERT curriculum ending with a four-hour final exercise. Basic training classes are offered free of charge three times a year. Monthly meetings are held which are geared toward advancing the skills of trained CERT members. In addition, there are quarterly trainings and advanced training opportunities offered throughout the year. |
