| Josephine County CERT is in place to protect 70,000 residents in Southern Oregon. The primary city is Grants Pass, with a population approching 30,000. We currently have 3 team of about 75 people in each. They are divided by rivers and other terrain features. We currently train 150 people a year in the CERT. Another aspect of our program is our SERT. It is a cooperative effort with Grants Pass
High School. We proudly train 300+ students every year and of those we have a very progressive SERT team that consists of 40 upperclass students. They are utilized in the event of any disaster theat may occur. If you have any questions please call. |
