Cert Description
To provide a coordinated emergency service response requiring the use of snowmobile transportation for wilderness, urban, or rural incidents involving fire, rescue, ems, recovery, or search. The SERT (Snow Emergency Response Team) services the state of Massachusetts from three regional points. The members of SERT are trained police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel. SERT is all-volunteer and is mobilized through existing incident command channels.
