Cert Description
The Halifax CERT Program will train residents to be prepared to help themselves, their families and neighbors in the event of an emergency or disaster. Participants will be encouraged to become involved in volunteer activities and further training that will make the community safer, stronger and better prepared. 1 member of the fire department, police department, and health department will be attending the train the trainer program in December. those members will then train 10 instructors to train the community.
