Cert Description
Purpose: This program uses government funds and volunteers to develop a Community Emergency Response Program (CERT) for our county. This program will use volunteers and government purchased equipment for special events, emergencies, etc. Approximately 25 people would be involved. Some events might be searching for lost children, weather problems, and community disasters. Objectives: 1. Obtain necessary volunteers, equipment and training for CERT team. 2. Sponsor potential instructors at train the trainer classes. 3. Provide CERT training to civilian volunteers
