| "The Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team (REACT) are volunteers who are organized internationally and use General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) radios to provide public service communications for travelers and their local communities. Summit County REACT, Inc. is one of those Teams that volunteer in their local community. Summit County REACT, Inc. sponsors Community Emergency Response Team training and related preparedness training. We encourage involvement in volunteer and training activities that make the community safer, stronger, and better prepared for emergencies. We will continue to recruit volunteers and provide opportunities to develop personal preparedness.
Please Note: Summit County REACT, Inc. CERT training curriculum is not currently recognized by Summit County or the county's public safety agencies. Officially recognized training is provided by Summit County Community Emergency Response Team, endorsed by Summit County Emergency Management and Summit County elected officials.
