Cert Description
The Hamilton County CERT Program is based on a partnership between Hamilton County EMA, Cincinnati Fire Department and its pre-existing CERT Team, American Red Cross, Scarlet Oaks Vocational School and local jurisdictional fire departments. Program goals include providing basic, all-hazards preparedness instructions for citizens to be better prepared to protect themselves, their families, their neighbors and serve their local jurisdiction should they be requested. Many local jurisdictional fire departments are utilizing this program to promote disaster preparedness within their community and build trained citizen teams to assist them performing their duties.
