Cert Description
Our program is open to anyone over 18 who lives or works in Washoe County. We currently have 159 trained volunteers. Each is equipped with a backpack filled with response equipment, including a CERT vest, hardhat, cap and identification badge. Our Volunteers Participate in: EMERGENCY CALLOUTS EVACUATIONS AIRPORT SECURITY RAILWAY SECURITY DISASTER PREPAREDNESS TRAINING WILDLAND FIRE SAFETY EDUCATION SPECIAL EVENTS SUPPORT EMERGENCY EXERCISES AND DRILLS EMERGENCY PUBLIC CALL TAKERS REGIONAL EMERGENCY OPERATIONS SUPPORT STAFF ADMINISTRATIVE WORK PROMOTING COMMUNITY AWARENESS
