| There are two CERT groups in the Town of Lady Lake, Water Oak CERT and Recreation Plantation CERT. There is a third CERT in the Villages that responds to areas in Lake, Marion and Sumter Counties. CERT members provide disaster preparedness and response programs within their local areas and distribute information to residents in their areas. The Police Department Emergency Coordinator works with both groups and provides training and some financial resources through grant funding. |
