Cert Description
The Orange County Office of Emergency Management delivers the 7 session Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and modified Business Emergency Response Team (BERT) training program to community and businesses. The training covers basic disaster survival and recovery information plus emergency preparedness skills important to know in a disaster. Teams are trained to help themselves, their neighbors and fellow employees until emergency services arrive. Teams are also trained to assist and work with emergency services when there is a need.
