Recurrent Carcinoma of Unknown Primary
Current Clinical Trials
The prognosis for any treated cancer patient with progressing, recurring, or
relapsing disease is poor, regardless of cell type or stage. Deciding on
further treatment depends on many factors, including the specific cancer, prior
treatment, and site of recurrence, as well as individual patient
considerations. Treatments that are under clinical evaluation are appropriate
and should be considered when possible.
Current Clinical Trials
Check for U.S. clinical trials from NCI's PDQ Cancer Clinical Trials Registry that are now accepting patients with recurrent carcinoma of unknown primary. The list of clinical trials can be further narrowed by location, drug, intervention, and other criteria.
