| The Mission of the Mill Valley CERT TEAM, an organization of CERT-trained citizen volunteers, is to assist the Mill Valley Public Safety Departments in responding to disasters and major emergencies. The Mill Valley CERT TEAM provides opportunities for Mill Valley citizens to serve their community in times of need.
The Goals of the Mill Valley CERT TEAM are:
1. To provide ongoing training to members to effectively respond to major emergencies and disasters.
2. To recruit new members from the graduates of the CERT course and keep current members engaged in the organization.
3. To build strong and effective response teams within each of the Mill Valley CERT Divisions.
4. To build a self-sustaining organization which works closely with the Mill Valley Fire Department.
