Cert Description
The Torrance Fire Department is offering CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training to all residents of the City of Torrance over 18 years of age. The training takes place over three consecutive Saturdays and is designed to help Torrance residents to take care of themselves and their neighbors in the event of a disaster or other emergency. This is done through training in various life saving techniques. Included in this training is: first aid, light search and rescue, light fire suppression techniques, disaster management, how to create an Incident Command system, and much more!
