To obtain a Data File Delivery (DFD) FTP subscription, contact the Data Dissemination Program at 571-272-5600. Upon receipt of payment, the Host Address, Port, User ID, and Password will be provided to access the Data File Delivery (DFD) System. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will provide data products via FTP and magnetic tape at the prices established for data dissemination. Also reference Patent and Trademark Data Products and the Patent and Trademark Data File Delivery (DFD) FTP document. FTP indicates the document may be downloaded (transferred to the user's computer) via the Internet using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The PTO FTP server is at ftp.uspto.gov. USPTO products may be purchased by check or money order, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Deposit Account, or credit card. Requests must include a telephone number for customer contact. Credit card and deposit account payments require the amount authorized to charge to the account.
