| With assistance from Meridian Community College, the Shell Road Community CERT program was developed to assist local volunteer responders during times of disaster. Several team members serve as representatives of area churches that have already been designated as potential shelters or staging areas. All SRC-CERT members have completed the FEMA Train-the-Trainer program with plans to provide additional CERT classes throughout the community. |
