Cert Description
Implementing education and training of CERT teams throughout Milam County. Established six teams within the 5 incorporated jurisdictions and small communities within the county. Each team train monthly within their city or community volunteer fire departments. The CERT Teams will collaborate with the first responder agencies within the county to conduct the county-wide exercise held annually. Will continue to promote community preparedness and family safety and engage citizens in homeland security.
