| Through, the CERT program, citizens are better prepared to respond to an emergency or disaster. This is an essential way for citizens to help secure the homeland by supporting the work of our professional first responders.
Project Objectives:
1. Devlop and implement a plan with the Assistance of the El Paso City/County Office of Emergency Management to properly disseminate information to the Far West Texas area regarding the mission of the CERT program and training opportunities;
2. Create and maintain a data base of all teams members;
3. Develop and implement (table top exercise) a plan on how team members will be called upon to assist;
4. Assign members to undertake administrative CERT duties when needed. |
