For the first time, CMS is posting its "Evidentiary Priorities for the Elderly Population" on its Coverage website. Input from NIH, the CDC, AHRQ, and the Medicare Evidence Development & Coverage Advisory Committee (MedCAC) contributed to development of the List. The goal of the development of evidentiary priorities is to provide the research community with research topics on clinical practice for which there are significant knowledge gaps.
